Another trip to the ER

During our vacation Josiah spiked a fever of 105 degrees and we rushed him to the hospital. After 8 hours, they diagnosed him with another UTI and pumped him with antibiotics. We were able to return to the beach house and finish our vacation with the promise of seeing a pediatrician the next day as well as seeing our doctor when we came home. We have an appointment with our family practice doctor today and will receive a referral to a renal pediatrician. Please pray with us for Josiah's health.

The Beach!!!

Every year we look forward to the family vacation at the Beach and every year it just flies by... this year was no different. The cousins had a wonderful time in the sand and water and enjoyed each others company. The six of us siblings and spouses try to engage in meaningful conversations while 'doing' our kids so it usually takes the entire week to complete one conversation. But...with all that has happened in my family this year, we still all met at the Beach to spend much needed time together and away from our everyday lives.

Camp Buddies

We love spending time with our friends and fellow youth pastors, Shawn & Amy Hayes (youth at Oroville) during camp. The girls have fun playing with their son Andrew.

10th Anniversary

Even though we were at Sr. High Camp, Mike and I managed to escape for dinner on the Russian River near Occidental (close to Sebastapol). Josiah was fussy and I got the flu that night...but what do you do? After 10 years and 3 kids you just go with the flow.
